Festive Wreath Making thanks to Lorraine Wood Flowers

A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to one of the coolest event I ever attended, a Christmas Wreath Making with Lorraine Wood Flowers in Glasgow 29.

Lorraine Wood Flowers is a flourishing business based in Renfrewshire, Glasgow.

Fresh, innovate and bespoke
Wedding Flowers, Event Flowers and Corporate Weekly Flowers. Lorraine is now branching out into new ground with the launch of her floral workshops at her studio outside Glasgow.

Glasgow 29, booked for us a private room upstairs, with all the decoration and spirit of Christmas and as well with an harpist (Emma Durkan) playing Christmas songs.

After catching up with some fellow bloggers, it was the time to start! Lorraine gave us a demonstration before, showing us all the steps that we had to follow after.

We used cinnamon, holly, pine, dried oranges, among others plants and trees to make it.

At the beginning it seemed complicated, then turned out it was easier than expected although there was some part difficult for all of us, especially the ribbon one!

But et voila! I made it!! Can´t be more proud of myself and thanks to Lorraine of course!

If you want to make your own, you should attend one of the Workshops that she is having every Saturday from 26th November until 18th December from 10-12 for Festive table Centre and 1-3pm for Festive Wreaths and cost £45, which includes all of the materials, refreshments and complementary lunch. You can find more information on her website.

If this wasn’t enough, we were treated with goody bags, which included a candle from Shearer Candles, and Christmas shopping list from XOXO.

Thanks to Lorraine and Lisa Palompo for invited me along!!!!
