Discovering the new menu at Italian Kitchen in Glasgow

Few weeks ago I was lucky enough to get invited to Italian Kitchen restaurant and their bloggers´ event night.

I know the restaurant because I´ve been a couple of times with my friends and family, so when I was invited to try their new menu and see how the venue inside has been redesigned and I only could say yes!

The refurbishment  it´s incredible and the venue inside now is cosier and more contemporary but keeping the essence of the restaurant.

The night was perfect from the arrival till the end, I was there with other 4 lovely bloggers so we spent the whole night eating and chatting!

First we were treated with Prosecco and drinks and a range of starters including homemade breads (rosemary and another spicy one) and olives and oils.

After that, it was the time for the hardest decision, chose the starter and the main, I´m always unsure about what to choose because their menu it´s amazing and with a huge variety of pizzas, pasta dishes, risottos etc.

I went for the asparagus with parma ham and as main my selection was tagliatelle with mushrooms, spinach and truffle oil (Tagliatelle con Funghi e Spinachi). Both of them were delicious.

After that it was time for learning and cooking! And the chef showed us how to prepare homemade raviolis, they gave us the recipe too! Was super fun learning and see how to do them.

After this little break was time for the dessert, as well, it was hard to choice among the delicious options. My choice was the crème brule and I couldn´t choose better. Was amazing, one of the best I´ve ever tried.

If you want to go to an authentic Italian restaurant in Glasgow, look no further and treat yourself with an amazing lunch or dinner at Italian Kitchen. They staff is really nice and helpful, the venue inside it´s simply perfect and the food it´s real Italian one, like if you were in Italy.

Thanks to all the team of Italian Kitchen for such a great night!

  1. I went back for pizza the following weekend. Couldn't resist! Definitely one of my favourite places to eat in Glasgow now.
