Bloggers´ night at Il Pavone

Few weeks ago I was invited to the re-opening of the Il Pavone Restaurant in Glasgow, in Princess Square Shopping Centre.


 

Il Pavone is an Italian restaurant and although I´ve been in other Italian restaurants here in Glasgow, it was my first time in Il Pavone, so I was super happy for the opportunity to go and try the restaurant, I went with other foodie bloggers and influencers.

The restaurant had a revamp a month ago with some menu changes and updates too. I really like how cozy the restaurant is and the elegant décor.

While we were waiting for the other bloggers to arrive, they offered us some cocktails and nibbles (garlic bread and olives and oil). In my case my election was the Sex on the Beach and the Italian Sunset with Amaretto (this one was my favourite!!).

After the cocktails it was the time to decide the main dish, it was super difficult because the menu has a lot of plates to choose among, my choice was the Fetuccini Portofino with scallops, king prawns, cherry tomatoes and rocket. I really liked the plate but I think that by adding a sauce would be better for the fettuccini.

To finish a perfect night it was dessert´s time! Oh my god!! I love Italian desserts! In this occasion I couldn´t resist to the Torta de la Nonna! It was delicious!

It was a really great night and I encourage you all to try Il Pavone, the staff was also really helpful and kind, and if you go you won´t regret due to the tasty food and the atmosphere at the restaurant.
